80 years of new beginnings
Cornilleau began in France in 1946 as a woodworking workshop. Over eight decades, the family business grew into a maker of tables and games while keeping its focus on quality and durability.
Each generation brought a new idea: table tennis at home, play outdoors, and furniture that brings people together. Making products in France remains central to the story.
A French story shaped by changing times

1946–1969 · From workshop to table tennis
Émile Cornilleau opened a woodworking workshop in Bonneuil-les-Eaux. The team helped rebuild local homes after the war. An order for 300 tables from the Parisian BHV store in 1969 set the business on a new path.

1980s · Play moves outdoors
As gardens became places to gather, Cornilleau developed weather resistant outdoor tables for everyday play.

1990s · The champions’ years
Partnerships with Jacques Secrétin and Jean-Philippe Gatien strengthened the sporting side of the brand. Folding, safety and playing performance became key to the tables.

2000s · Play for everyone
The company brought table tennis to schools and public spaces and launched the durable Tacteo outdoor racket.

2010s–2020s · A new style of play
The Play-Style collection brings table tennis, billiards and table football together with furniture design for contemporary homes.
